The Houston County EDA is currently accepting applications for appointment to the Houston County Economic Development Authority (EDA) board. The application can be found online here or by contacting EDA Director Allison Wagner. The first round of applications will be reviewed at the September 2nd, 2026 EDA meeting and need to be received by 4:30 p.m. on September 1st be considered in the first round. After that if additional vacancies remain the application will remain opened until all vacancies are filled. 


The EDA typically meets the first Wednesday of each month at 8:05 am in room 219 in the Historic Courthouse when there are updates or items to consider. Contact the EDA to find out if they plan to meet.
