Public health data represent important indicators and aid in tracking measures of health over time, allowing comparison of the local results with state and national goals and show where there are gaps in health status within the population as a whole as well as within subpopulations.

County Health Rankings & Roadmaps

County Ranking and Roadmap is a data tool that assists with understanding health, health indicators, and the overall community. 

Minnesota Student Survey

In 2025 the Minnesota Student Survey was administered to public school students in Grades 5, 8, 9 and 11 statewide. This survey  reveals information about mental health, substance use, physical and social conditions of our youth. 

Community Health Needs Assessment
Our community health needs assessment is conducted in partnership with United Way COMPASS every three years. This assessment helps decide what public health will focus on for the following three years. The most recent assessment gave us data that determined we would be working on mental health, healthy eating, active living, access to healthcare, and environmental health.
