The Houston County Sheriff's Office conducts civil fingerprinting by appointment only during business hours. Please call the Houston County Sheriff's Office Administrative Staff to schedule an appointment. 

Fingerprints are $10.00 per card. We accept cash or check only. We do not accept credit/debit cards. If paying with cash, please bring exact cash as we often are unable to make change.  

Please do not fill out the fingerprint card beforehand. All applicant information and fingerprints will be printed on the card. The completed fingerprint card is then provided to the applicant once signed by both the applicant and the fingerprint technician. 

The Houston County Sheriff's Office has FD-258 fingerprint cards on hand for applicants to use. If you were already provided a fingerprint card by an employer or state board, please bring it with you along with any additional paperwork you need signed by the fingerprint technician.
