The goal of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) Noxious Weed Program is to protect Minnesota's citizens, economy, and agricultural resources from the negative impact of invasive plants and noxious weeds. Some plants are noxious because they can harm people, animals, the food we eat, and the environment. The MDA, County, Cities, and Township Officials inspect lan and ask owners to control and eradicate weeds that are present to keep them from spreading and harming neighboring lands.

If you suspect you have found a noxious weed, contact the Houston County Ag Inspector at 507-725-5800 or your elected Township Official to begin the investigation process.
