Houston County is partnered with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) for administering pesticide applicator exams. The Zoning & Planning Department offers computerized exams utilizing materials provided by the MDA. Pesticide applicator exams are offered Monday - Friday at 8:30am, 11:00am, and 2:00pm by appointment only.
Scheduling an Exam
When scheduling an exam, the proctor will need a copy of the confirmation receipt provided by the MDA or license application with fee, proof of identification, and the $20 administrative fee. If you have an exam scheduled but will no longer be able to make the appointment, please contact the Zoning & Planning Department to cancel the appointment and reschedule.
