Houston County works alongside septic professionals to determine the proper location, design, installation, use, and maintenance of a Subsurface Sewage Treatment System (SSTS) to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of the environment and community.

Septic Permitting & Fees
Completed septic applications must be dropped off at the Zoning & Planning Department or emailed to [email protected] to be reviewed by staff.
